Hi guys!
So, the big day had arrived! All twenty-five days of Blogmas have lead up to today, and what a day it's been! I've had some right laughs with my family, got some amazing gifts, ate some lovely food and watched some quality TV.
We woke up early of course and got straight into the usual present opening ritual with the Christmas music channels in the background. I got a range of wonderful gifts, from headphones to vinyl to cosmetics, photos to come in a bit! Even the cat joined in, bless her with her kicking around her little treat ball! We actually tried to get through all the presents at more of a slow pace, yet no matter how slow you go, it's always over in a heartbeat! So yes I was spoilt rotten and very much enjoyed all my wonderful gifts!
Now was time to get ready to go to my grandma's for lunch! My 'Ho Ho Ho' Christmas jumper was whipped out, with New Look dogtooth leggings and brand new converse and 'Jade' necklace to accompany it, sorted. It was of course the usual stuff you'd expect at Christmas dinner, turkey, pigs in blankets... the whole lot! The food was lovely. Next was straight to the front room for one of my annual festive faves - Top of the Pops! There were some fab performances from the likes of Ed Sheeran, George Ezra and Take That, with the closure of Ben Haenow's Christmas number one. The usual Queen's speech was put on next, but I found myself actually being quite engaged with it this year?! Obvs becoming a granny before my years. But yes a wonderful lunch with grandma and great grandma!
Next up we were straight back home to use all of our brand new stuff! My room was a tip so I made some room for my new gifts and I prefer the look of my room now to before so it's all good! Tidying was also slightly enjoyable with my brand new Oasis 'Definitely Maybe' vinyl on! Ooh, for Christmas I got SIX CDs as well as an iTunes voucher, so a long time was also spent synching all that!
Dinner came around and it was macaroni cheese so decidedly not so festive! We watched the Miranda Christmas special also which was as random as ever! I can't believe there is only one episode left, it feels like one of those shows that will never end. Anyway, right now as I'm typing this, we're about to watch the yearly Eastenders Christmas episode and I can't WAIT as it never fails to disappoint with the drama and shock reveals, plus the trailers have looked really promising! A few family games of trivial pursuit will most likely follow.
So, here was my Christmas in pictures...
All in all it was such a fun day with my family! I can't believe this now means the end of Blogmas, it's been SO much fun to put together this year, I'm surprised I actually didn't slack and miss any days! I hope you guys enjoyed and have all had an amazing Christmas with your loved ones!
Thanks for reading,
Jade xx
